What if I need to contact my surgeon outside of scheduled reviews?
You have direct access to your surgeon throughout your care period. Message them directly via the secure channel — response within 4 hours during working hours, escalation line for genuine emergencies 24/7.
What qualifies as a "complication" vs a normal recovery concern?
Your pre-travel briefing covers warning signs specific to your procedure. Anything outside those parameters — unexpected pain, unusual swelling, fever, wound separation — gets the same protocol: message surgeon, 4-hour assessment, escalation if needed.
Does my GP have access to my full surgical record?
Your GP receives a complete handover package before you travel — procedure notes, surgical approach, implant specs if applicable, medication list, and post-op monitoring protocol. They can also contact your surgeon directly if needed.
What if I'm not happy with the results?
